Description

Lassie stars as Shep, a collie with undying loyalty to prospector Jonathan Harvey (Paul Kelly) and young Tommy Blake (Gary Gray), amidst the unspoiled natural wonders of the Old West. Jonathan discovers gold up in the mountains and returns to town, only to learn that after bringing Lin Taylor (Bruce Cowling) in as their partner, Tommy's father has died, leaving Martha Blake (Ann Doran) a window. Gradually consumed by greed, Lin kills Jonathan for his share and prisons Shep, but Bald Eagle (Chief Yowlachie) saves her, while Tommy is determined to solve the mystery of Jonathan's disappearance.
